Darned near a year in pictures

Inspired by my colleague, Miriam, by Auggie Wren from the film Smoke, and by Donald Hall's poem "The Ox-cart Man," I begin a year-long blog --- exactly one photo per day. I'm starting a few days late, but it's a Leap Year, so I have some wiggle room. I'll post my first entries tonight when I get home. If you're interested in this exercise, the rules are simple: Make lots of pictures. Select one each day to post. The photo must be taken on the posting date.
These are my last words here for 2012. Let's hope the photos speak for themselves.
